The orange nectar bat (Lonchophylla robusta) is found in tropical forests from lowlands to elevations of 600-800 meters. It is common at mid-elevations. In addition to nectar, this bat eats moths and beetles and probably some fruit. It lives in caves and cave-like locations. Little is known of its behavior. Portraits
