The Heller's broad-nosed bat (Plattyrrhinus helleri) is found from southern Mexico to Brazil and Bolivia in both wet and dry tropical forests, especially along edges. It roosts in small groups in caves, buildings and foliage, but does not make tents. It eats mostly fruit but also catches some moths. Little is known of its behavior. Portraits
