Pallid bats (Antrozous pallidus), night- roosting in Texas. They feed on scorpions and centepeds, a wide variety of large insects, cactus and agave pollen, and even an occasional lizard. Following a large evening meal, they often gather at a nearby location, not used during the day, to rest while digesting.
