An adult male Greater short-nosed fruit bat (Cynopterus sphinx) robbing sweat nectar water from a sugar maker's collecting can in a coconut palm in Thailand. Flowering stalks are tied together and cut so that nectar-producing sap can be harvested. It is later cooked to make a delicious sugar. When not stealing sugar water, these bats are outstanding seed dispersers and pollinators. Seed Dispersal
